I like so much to share your vision through your rhythms, body movement, mind, spirit, soul … in sounds, different expressions of arts … I' m happy to meet you! The course was very precious for me and motivated my teachers. In my role I believe in this a lot : art and peace begin with me ! Thank you Piotr. Anita. P.S. I wrote it also as counselor in integrated pluralistic human experiential approaches.

Dejana Varnica - school psychologist in Josip Matos Primary school, Vukovar
Participating in the "Special needs through the Art of rhythm, movement, silence, contemplation and more" course brought me 5 days of enjoyment in activities that affected both mind and body. Connecting the theory and practice of rhythm, and applying it in very practical and simple activities, I learned a number of techniques that will be useful to me in working with students, with an emphasis on students with special needs. Seemingly simple activities can easily fit into different areas (subjects) of work at school, and encourage the development and adoption of various competencies - social, emotional, but also other skills and abilities (fine and gross motor skills, coordination, oculomotor skills) necessary for success in school and everyday life. At the same time, we should not forget creativity and imagination, which can be stimulated by applying this way of working. Especially important for all course participants was the flexibility and adaptability of the leader according to the needs of the course participants, which influenced a better connection between the participants themselves and with the leader.
Elena Evagorou and Andreas Kouis from Cyprus Society for Education through Arts (CySEA)
The "Art of Living" course was for sure a unique and hands on learning experience, with insights for all participants, through the miracle of Rhythm! Through this cross curricular training I gained so much on a personal and social level, but also as a facilitator of learning through the Arts. And all in a fun way too! It was really a privilege to be part of this magical journey together with our amazing trainer Piotr! Thank you very much!!!
Mgr Andrea Vojčíková - Obchodná akadémia - Business Academy, Bratislava, Slovakia
The course in Berlin with Piotr was really perfect. We have so many practical skills. Piotr is an opend-minded and inspiring teacher. We had so much fun with dancing and movement in general.
Ivana Mravinac - I teach kids with speech, language disorders and hearing impairment - Poliklinika SUVAG Zagreb
I needed something fresh and I found it during this workshops. I received here very simple but powerful tools and how to work with the group and how to develop union of the group with these tools. And the exercises I liked the most were silent exercises and corporations exercises.
Antje Lehmhus - Gymnasium Am Turmhof Mechernich
We have learned that body control, sensory perception and art is a fundamental task of education. We have worked this out in small-step task modules that are so practicable that they can be integrated very well into lessons and easily passed on to colleagues. The basis of all modules was the experience of rhythm as a musical pulse that is the basis for everything. This principle, with all the modules that build on one another, can be ideally included in music lessons, especially in Middle and Primary school. This basic experience can also be used by students as a basis for their first instrumental experiences. Exercises on sensory perception and body perception indoor and in nature can be integrated into everydays teaching of all subjects to promote the ability to concentrate. As a result of the training, we experimentally tested excerpts from the modules in a Polish 7th school class and documented them in small video sequences and at the same time edited them into a new small work of art. Your personality, knowledge, experiences and skills gave us many knowledge and skills. You made us very willing to learn and to open our minds.
Ana Tose - special needs teacher in Escola Básica e Secundária Tomás de Borba, Angra do Heroísmo, Azores - the age range of the students from 3 to 15 years old.
This training was very interesting because it showed me that very simple exercises can be extremely powerful in achieving the results I aim for in my teaching practice. The repetition of rhythmic exercises creates an almost hypnotic effect on our minds, helping with the integration of the pulse, which is something I struggle with in my pedagogical practice, especially with students with special educational needs, while also working on concentration. The practice of movement helps to create more fluidity, more space, and greater body awareness while also aiding in the release of tension. Applying these techniques in classes will help students explore and develop their body expression. The exercises related to silence and emotions will help me work on emotions with students who live in social housing, who, in addition to the various challenges life has given them, have great difficulty expressing their emotions and understanding the emotions of others. I will apply this knowledge in my practice because I believe it will help to structure teaching as well as serve as a bridge to make the activities I develop more effective, enjoyable, and successful. Beyond the course, this whole experience was very enriching as it allowed me to learn about other's participants ( Italian and Czech) cultures and to share insights into different educational realities. Getting to know the city and islands of Oslo, its museums, public transportation, gastronomy, etc., was also very important for my personal and professional growth.
Antonella Vozza - technology teacher in “Evan Gorga” Broccostella Comprehensive Institute - the age range of the students 10-13 years old.
When I left for Oslo, I had the desire and need for an immersive experience, primarily for myself. I needed to reconnect my body and mind and I wanted to discover simple practices that could also promote wellness at school with secondary students. With expertise, Piotr delivered a course full of valuable insights. He skillfully timed and proposed activities, selecting locations that aligned with the theme to be addressed. The practices were simple, requiring only minimal resources typically available in schools. Body, movement, rhythm, sound, and moments of silence are foundational elements, essential ingredients for fostering connections. I returned to Italy with a deeper awareness of the power of these practices and a strong belief that promoting well-being should be prioritized in learning environments. A big thanks to Piotr and to my lovely classmates, with whom I shared this wonderful experience.
Andrea Trallero Soriano - Preschool Teacher in CEIP Miguel Hernandez, Valencia - children from 0 to 6 years old
In reference to my comment about the course, I would like to say that it has lived up to my expectations.
It has been fun, dynamic and I highlight the flexible schedule, as well as the attention, patience and dedication of Piotr. The fact of changing places in each session I liked a lot and I found it very enriching. This course has provided me with ideas to work with children in kindergarten, since rhythm, movement, silence, working with one's own body, etc. are fundamental aspects at this age. I am very grateful to the sessions and to Piotr. Thank you very much for everything! It has been a very cool experience!
Maria Typpo - music teacher in different primary and secondary schools in Jyväskylä 🇫🇮
I really like the course. It was inspiring, creative… it even opened my senses. In the course I didn't feel any rush and I just could be and calm me down to make and share exercises and thoughts together. I felt that in the course everyone could be himself/herself - an unique individual. I believe that the course inspired everyone to use rhythm and other exercises in their work. I feel that after the course I have been calmer and my senses have been more open.
Gamze Yılmaz - Råsunda Skola - Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Technique teacher Stockholm, Sweden
I learned new things and perspectives that I will use in class with my students. I learn to think in a different way than the usual classroom teacher thinking. With the power of rhythm. I’m so glad that I went on this course. Thank you very much!
Dace Rudzīte - Tirzas Primary school’s and Preschool - Gulbene
Attractive, interesting, creative rhythm/music methods for working with children of different ages! I will definitely use them in my everyday work! Thank you very much!"
Bettina Fassbender KGS primary school - Germany German language, Maths, Science, Arts Wuppertal
The workshop has been a lot of fun and Piotr is a very nice and committed course instructor. But more than that: Rhythm exercises and games have been very motivating for me and will be for my students. They are easy to implement in every day school life, suitable for younger and older students as well as for those with ADHS or problems in concentration. They are also useful in groups of students with migration background and difficulties in language as lots of talking is not needed. Thank you Piotr for a inspriring week in Wroclaw.
